Here is one of them  <br /> 1. Study about the institute/ company and the job roles & responsibilities as much as you can. <br /> 2. Become a master of one subject. <br /> 3. You should be able to justify and prove to the interviewer whatever you have written in your Resume. <br /> 4. Thoroughly study your Major Project or assignment that you worked upon. <br /> 5. Prepare answers to HR questions. See a list of questions at the end of the document. <br /> 6. Have general knowledge about current happenings. <br /> 7. Examine your nature/behavior and note down the important points. <br /> 8. Give free psychological tests available on internet and note down the results about you. <br /> 9. If asked about mistakes. <br /> a. tell them something from long time back <br /> b. tell something that you could not have done anything about it such as <br /> i. due to financial constraints you were unable to appear for an exam but now you think that you should have tried a bit harder and tried for it <br /> ii. health or some other issues of someone close to you forced you to take an unwanted step. <br /> 10. During interview  <br /> a. Don t bend <br /> b. Sit straight but not like a statue <br /> c. Have a smile on your face <br /> d. Wash your face 5-10 minutes before your interview starts <br /> e. Dress appropriately  look smart as much as you can. <br /> f. Reach early even if you have your interview scheduled later in the day - so that you may try to schedule your interview in the morning (or first few)  so that you as well as the interviewer are fresh, in good mood, and relaxed. <br /> g. Keep all your documents in a neat file and in chronological order. <br /> h. Have photocopies of your documents with you. <br /> i. Look into the eyes of the interviewer all time but do not stare. Blink your eyes intermittently. <br /> j. If there is more than 1 interviewer then look at everyone  don t neglect anyone. <br /> k. If you don t know an answer then confidently say  I don t know  its not a crime that you don t know something. It stands true even if you don t know answers to most of the questions, still say that you don t know - don t bluff. <br /> l. If you don t know an answer, pretend to think on it and then say that you don t know. <br /> m. Don t let the interviewer think that you are tensed- hide your nervousness <br <br /> n. If the interviewer tries to put pressure on you by asking questions for which you don t know the answers then try to remain calm  pretend to think  so that you may buy more time and the interviewer loses his flow of thoughts. <br /> 11. Don t tell your weaknesses that you cant correct or that can cause negative impact <br /> 12. Don t say that your weakness is that you are  emotional . <br /> 13. If you have a hobby of singing or dancing and they ask you to show it, then don t ask them which song they want to hear or see.
